It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judeen Theresa Hagerty, who left this world peacefully on October 27, 2025, at Autumn Lakes in Ruxton, Maryland. She was 74 years old. Born on March 2, 1951, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Judeen lived a life defined by warmth, strength, and compassion. After graduating from Columbia High School in New Jersey, she earned her degree in Special Education from Jersey City University, graduating summa cum laude. Her dedication to her students and profession was exceptional - so much so that Baltimore County Public Schools invited her to help develop a new curriculum for Special Education, recognizing her extraordinary commitment to every child she taught. Judeen had an unmistakable presence - she could light up any room and make you feel as though you had known her forever within minutes of meeting her. She embodied grit and grace, never one to complain, even in the most difficult times.
Above all, Judeen's greatest joy was being a mother. She was deeply involved in her children's lives, schools, and extra curricular activities. Her faith was a steady guide throughout her life, and all of her children were Baptised and Confirmed at Sacred Heart Church in Glyndon, Maryland - a place that held special meaning to her and her family. Judeen is survived by her beloved children Raphael E. Marcantoni IV, Antony Joseph Marcantoni, Jillian Judeen Marcantoni, and her grandchildren: Rachel Lee Holliday, Joseph Brandon Marcantoni, Cade Bennett Yarger, Scarlett Vallory Marcantoni, and Avianna Valentina Marcantoni; and, predeceased by Raphael "Little Rocky" Elpido Marcantoni V. Her memory will live on in them and in all who were blessed to know her.
A funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Glyndon, Maryland, on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. A private reception for close friends and family will follow at Kecco's Restaurant in Reisterstown.
