Judith Achinger Obituary
Judith A. "Judy "Achinger, age 76, of Holland, OH, passed away September 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 14, 1947 in Toledo, OH. Judy married the love of her life Joseph Achinger on April 3, 1965. She worked as a para professional for Toledo Public Schools for many years and was also a volunteer firefighter for Spencer Township. An amusement park enthusiast, she enjoyed multiple trips every summer to Cedar Point with her family. Christmas was Judy's favorite holiday because it meant spending time with her family which was her greatest joy in life.
Judy is survived by her sons, David (Vicki), Donald (Bri) and Ronald; grandchildren, Josh, Ben, Jessica, Nate (Charli), Jennifer, and Amber; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Sarah, and Freida; and faithful friend, caretaker and brother-in-law, Tom. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Ingram; husband, Joe; sister, Linda; daughter-in-law, Dana; great-granddaughter, Sayde; and great-grandson, Casey.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Hwy.
Memorial donations may be given to Ohio Living Health and Hospice

Hi to 'Ronny, Donny, and David', (that's how I remember you!)
This is Chuck Benway, and your mom and my mom were the best of friends. I am guessing you remember that. One of my memories from childhood was that your mom and my mom were on the phone all the time. All the time! Looking back, I think it is a riot how those two got along. They were strong willed women- but they made it work. We came to visit you a few times when we were younger. Good stuff.
I am sorry to hear the news about your mom. Just know that I am thankful for her friendship with Mary Anne- it meant so much to her.
