Judith Baier Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 31, 2024.
Judy Baier, known to friends and loved ones as 'JB' was called to her heavenly home on January 28, 2024 and is now dancing the streets of gold.
She was born on September 24, 1942 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Donald Robert Kyle and Virginia Violet Speake.
She graduated from St. Petersburg High School in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1960. She moved to Georgetown, Texas in 1977 where she raised her family and spent 47 years sharing her love of physical fitness with the community through various locations including when she started More Than Aerobics. For the last 27 years she enjoyed teaching her aerobics classes and personal training at the Sun City Fitness Center and was adored by all.
She was a natural dancer and an accomplished instructor of ballroom and country western. She and her partner Gregory enjoyed teaching two step at Sun City and participated in many competitions and enjoyed entertaining the crowd with their mesmerizing routines.
Her Faith and her family were the most important things in her life. She enjoyed nothing more than gathering her family around her to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and any other reason she could find to bring her family together. She was so proud of all her grandchildren and cherished each moment she spent with them. She leaves an unfillable void in her family and will be missed beyond measure.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald O. Tate, mother Virginia Tate, sister Patty Jo Dye and nephew Daniel Dye. She is survived by her partner Gregory Putbrese; children: son Dale Baier, daughter Tricia Heine (John), daughter Lara Glass (John), daughter Sharon Baier, grandchildren: Sarah Heine, Tyler Heine (Scarlett), Hannah Heine (Wyatt), Chelsea Glass, Cody Glass, Kaden Skero and David Ransom IV (Phoebe) and great grandson John Walker Heine, former Husband and friend: Karl Baier and wife Patty; sister-in-law Adele Baier, nephew: Donald Dye, sister: Barbara Berry (Charles) and niece Brittany Jackson.
She went home to be with her Heavenly Father in the same way she loved to live her life, surrounded by the family she loved.
A visitation with the family will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 7, from 6-8 pm.
A Celebration of life will take place Friday, February 9, 2024 beginning at 2pm at The Worship Place in Sun City.
