Judith "Judy" Jolan Balogh, age 56 of Hesperia, Michigan, passed away September 24, 2025, at her home in Hesperia. She was born on December 8, 1968, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to Jozsef & Mabel (Utesch) Balogh who preceded her in death. Judy had two older brothers, Laszlo Balogh of Houston who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother Joseph Balogh (Karla). Judy had many cousins that she was very close to in the Waukesha, WI area. Special mention must be given to Gizmo, her beloved pet dachshund who was her constant companion for the last 6 years. They shared a special bond, and he provided an endless source of love, joy, comfort and happiness to Judy with his antics and expressive eyes.

Judy grew up in Crete, Illinois, and as an adult resided in Park Forest, Illinois, before moving to Hesperia in 2018. She spent most of her career working in the daycare field at several different locations in Illinois and Indiana. She often put in long hours and demonstrated work skills that exceeded expectations. Judy was highly regarded with staff, children and families adoring her. Perhaps it was her childlike wonder with life and her exuberant personality that endeared children and parents alike to her. Family and friends knew that she enjoyed and was passionate about the work she did. Judy had a large circle of friends and will be missed by all.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be in Jericho Cemetery, Eagle, Wisconsin, at a later date with a graveside service with family. You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com. Arrangements were by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
