Judith Batten Obituary
Walkertown – Judith Fulk Batten, 81, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the home of her daughter surrounded by her family. She was born on March 7, 1942, in Forsyth County to the late Bessie Myers Fulk and John Hobert Fulk. Judith loved the Lord with all her heart and would have endless conversations about him. She was a terrific cook and loved to prepare meals or have parties for everyone. Her family was her life, especially her grandkids. Judith’s love for her grandchildren proved that children are the most important in this world.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Bill, Melvin, Johnny, and Don Fulk; and three sisters, Betty Tally, Patricia Sell, and Marlene Kiser.
Left to cherish her memories are her three children, David Batten, Keith Batten (Teena), and Dana Reynolds (Ray); ten grandchildren, Justin Batten, Cara Batten, Tyler Batten, Tanner Batten, Parker Batten, Alexandria Vickers, Seth Reynolds, Caleb Reynolds, Hannah Trantham, and Abi Reynolds; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Derek Radney officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory – Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:45pm prior to the funeral service.
