Judith "Judi" Brown, 77, of Battle Lake, died Saturday, February 21, 2026 at her residence.
Judith Lynn Bailey was born September 7, 1948 to Gordon and June (Marks) Bailey in Honolulu, Hawaii.
On December 26, 1982 Judi married Gregory "Greg" Michael Brown in San Diego, California.
Judi was a one-of-a-kind, salt of the Earth woman. Her whole life was lived to the fullest. She was as adventurer and philanthropist from her work in the field doing local water conservation in her youth, as well as contributing to ocean conservation until the end with the 4Ocean Foundation. She also was able to participate in many memorable Archaeological digs, leaving this world with a collection of her found treasures. Judi did work as a dog groomer, paramedic, and insurance sales showing her love for people and animals alike. She was a proud Navy wife to her Vietnam Veteran husband, Greg. Their relationship was built on a strong foundation of love and understanding. They held and loved each other through the loss of their son, Matthew in 2006 and cherished his memory every day since. They were best friends and cared for each other so deeply. They both had a love for the open road on their motorcycles, often bringing their beloved dog, Bailey!
It's hard to be sad knowing Judi is back with her loved ones, but she will forever be missed from this world.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Gregory Brown; son, Matthew Johnston; brother, Christopher Bailey; parents, June and Gordon Bailey, and uncle, Don McIntyre.
Judi is survived by her grandson, Parker Leiseth and cousin, Elizabeth McIntyre.
