Judith Jeanine Burgin

Judith Jeanine Burgin of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on January 30, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. Judy was born on October 5, 1962, in Sacramento, California, to Jerry and Carol Giddens.

Judy graduated from Shawnee High School in 1980. On July 17, 1981, she married Michael S. Burgin. They were married 20 years and had three children: Nichole, Gina, and Michael.

After retiring, Judy moved to Eufaula, Oklahoma, to spend time with her mother, Carol, after the passing of her stepfather, David.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Giddens, and her son, Michael.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Smith; her sister, Ann Hatcher; and her daughters and sons-in-law, Nichole and Adam Aloway, and Gina Burgin and Justin Jackson. She is also survived by her grandchildren:  Haley, Jayden, Dexter, Felix, Harley, Hope, Rocky, and Jasper; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, 10:00 a.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
