Judith A. Buss, age 77, of Dodgeville, WI, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at Edenbrook of Platteville Nursing Home in Platteville. She was born November 22, 1947, in Dodgeville, the daughter of Albert and Genevieve (Newton) Leuthold. Judy grew up in rural Darlington and graduated from Belmont High School in 1965. She went on to attend Madison VoTech, where she earned her certificate in the Medical Assistant program.

Following her education, Judy worked for two years in the urology clinic in Madison for Schoenberger-McIntosh & Graf. She later farmed alongside her husband for 31 years before working at Markle Korff Industries for a decade, and eventually Menards in Platteville, where she remained until her retirement. On June 29, 1968, Judy was united in marriage to Terry R. Buss at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Darlington. Together they shared a loving marriage until his passing in 2018.

Judy is survived by her son, Bill (Jenny Holtz) Buss of rural Mineral Point; and her grandchildren: Storm Marshall-Buss, Kylie and Morgan Washburn; and one great-grandson: Dax Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Terry; and her brother, Jack Leuthold.

A proud member of the Belmont Saddle Club for many years, Judy also enjoyed tending her flower gardens and bird watching in her free time.

Per Judy's wishes, no services will be held. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
