Judith Capie Obituary
Mrs. Capie was born in Washington D.C. on January 3, 1943 to her loving parents David Richey Eckhardt and Mary Elizabeth Riley Eckhardt.
Throughout her life she was known as a beautiful, creative spirit who never lost her sense of wonder and imagination. She had an amazing gift of story writing and poetry.
She was a professional floral designer. Her work throughout the years brought beauty and happiness to many.
Mrs. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, David Richey Eckhardt and Mary Elizabeth Eckhardt. She is survived by her beloved husband Fredrick Capie, daughters Mia Walther of CA, Gussie Bradfield and her husband Bobby of Rome. As well as her son Rick Walther of Rome. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren, Victoria Tate (JT), Brett Mirabella (Lauren), Brianna Castleman (Chris), Chloe Pickens (Ryan), Trevor, Austin and Emaleigh. As well as five great grandchildren.
Judith will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
The receiving of friends and family will be held at her daughter's home. 30 Fairhaven Drive NW, Rome, Ga 30165 on Wednesday June 19th from 11am-7pm
Salmon Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Judith Richey (Eckhardt) Capie.
