May 25, 1933 - January 30, 2026

Judith A. Carter, 92, of Moline, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at Charter Memory Center in Moline. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday February, 3, 2026 at St. Mary's Church, Moline. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials can be made to St. Mary's Church, Moline.

Judy was born May 25th, 1933 in Moline, the daughter of Lyle and Anne (Wilms) Nixon. She married Wilfred on December 19th, 1953 in Moline. He preceded her in death May 6, 2011.

Judy worked for Deere and Company for 19 years.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Steve Carter of Moline, Cynthia Carter White of Moline and Robert (Leslie) Carter of Coal Valley; grandchildren Tawnie (Bram) Gustafson Bobby (Alicia) Carter Amber (Travis) Huffman Nick Carter and Brian White and her aunt Joyce Long of LeClaire, Iowa.
