Judith E. Cattani

Judith "Judy" (Slattery) Cattani, age 74, of Westlake, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was born on January 12, 1951 in Lakewood, Ohio to the late John Jerome "Jerry" And Dorothy "Dot" Slattery.
Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister; family meant everything to her. She grew up in Lakewood, Ohio attended St. James for elementary school and graduated from Magnificat High School in 1969.
She met her loving husband, John, at a high school dance, dated through college and married a couple weeks after she graduated from Bowling Green State University. They started their family together in Rocky River, Ohio where they resided for 32 years.
Judy was a devoted wife for 52 wonderful years to John. She loved her family and being a mom, but her greatest joy was being a grandmother. She also enjoyed playing trivia at the senior center, volunteering at St. Bernadette church, reading books, gardening and was a proud member of the Alpini Trentini Italian Club.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John, her daughter Karen Cattani (Nik Kottha) and her beautiful granddaughters Neena Kottha and Vita Kottha. She is also survived by her brother, John Slattery and sisters Mary Jo Slattery and Lisa Slattery. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Dorothy Slattery. And most recently her sister in law Anna Kirschling and brother-in -law Joe Cattani.
Funeral Mass St. Bernadette Church 2256 Clague Rd. Tuesday, December 30 at 10:30 a.m. Interment private. Friends may call at the McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE 25620 CENTER RIDGE RD. (WEST OF COLUMBIA) MONDAY FROM 4-7 PM.
