Judith S. Cira

Judith S. Cira, 84 of South Bend, IN passed away on January 22, 2025 at Southfield Village Healthcare, South Bend, IN. She was born on August 6, 1940 in South Bend to the late Joseph and Veronica Hintz. She married William Victor Cira, Sr on August 22, 1959 and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2003.
Judy was a member of St. Matthew Cathedral in South Bend IN. She retired from Cira's Marathon where she was the co-owner with her husband. She loved gardening, flowers and designing her own flower arrangements. She also enjoyed crafts, reading, playing bingo and playing games on her iPad.
She is survived by her children; Becky (Michael) Lund, South Bend, IN, William "Bill" (Loraine) V. Cira, Jr., New Castle, CO, Sharon (Andy) Kirkham, Cary, NC, 9 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and her brother; Norbert A. Hintz, South Bend, IN.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister; Gertrude Pinter and Brothers; Robert, Leo and Raymond Hintz.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Palmer Funeral Homes, Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN 46614 with visitation 2 hours prior beginning at 10:00 am on Friday, February 7, 2025. Burial will immediately follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
