Judith Ilene Dennis, 82, of Sullivan, died Tuesday, January 6, 2026 under the care of Cleveland Clinic Hospice. Born on September 14, 1943, in Lodi, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Fern (nee Schultz) Dennis. Judy was a life long resident of Sullivan and a 1962 graduate of Black River High School.
Judy was a longtime waitress at the Reed House in Nova and later a cashier at the Ashland Wal-Mart. She enjoyed a good dinner out and was especially fond of the Sullivan Market chicken. Judy loved caring for her cats.
Judy is survived by her brother, Butch Dennis; nephew, Shawn; niece, Tiffany; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ben Dennis and a nephew David Dennis.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, January 12, from 10-12 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, with services beginning at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Sullivan Southview Cemetery.
