Judy was many things. Daughter, sister, wife, aunt and teacher. It was as a teacher she inspired countless students to go on and do great things. She challenged her students to be the best they could be, all while also being fair and understanding.
To me, she was Aunt Judy. She loved decorating. I remember going with her and Sarah when we were younger to help decorate her room for the upcoming school year at the end of summer for many years. But her favorite holiday to decorate for was Christmas. One of my fondest memories of her and Uncle Andy is of them putting clues on our Christmas presents. Sarah and I had to guess what the gift was based on these clues. We had three guesses to try and figure out what the present was. Once we got it right, we could open it. Of course, if we didn´t get it right in the three guesses, we still got to open it. But I like to think that was one of her ways to teach us. Not as her students, but as her niece and nephew. All while having some holiday fun.
Judy will be missed by all of us. But we can take solace in knowing she is now at peace alongside her parents, my mother and of course the love of her life, her husband, Uncle Andy.

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of Judy. I know the love her and Andy shared and am happy they are eternally together. To me, Judy was a mentor, a teacher, colleague at Griswold School, but foremost my dear friend. When I came to Griswold School as a fourth grade teacher, I happened to be in Judy´s old classroom in the same grade she had taught and loved. We connected immediately through her endless support, words of wisdom and advice which never steered me wrong as I began and continue my career. Perfect clothes, nails and hair were her signature traits. The dedication and special programs Judy began at Griswold School are remembered on many of the plaques that remain on the walls of Griswold even today. After her retirement, she asked to pledge me in the educational sisterhood of ADK. I would hear of her trips to Hilton head, hear stories of her niece and laugh together about our stories at Griswold. Judy, you are a part of my life that will forever be touched by your kindness, love and beautiful personality. Just a word between us- "corn." - I will miss you greatly.
Blessings sweet Judy.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Judy. I worked for Judy and Andy when they lived in Spring Lake Village. I cleaned for them. I was working for them when Andy passed. Judy liked to decorate and Andy liked to play golf. So sorry for your loss.
