Judith M. "Kendall" Dewey

Judith M. (Kendall) Dewey, 83, of Columbia Crossroads, passed away on September 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on October 16, 1941, in Troy, she was the daughter of Merle and Jean (Hewitt) Kendall.

On April 15, 1960, at the Troy Baptist Church, Judith married Thomas Dewey in Troy, PA, he preceded her in death in 1993.

Judith was a longtime member at the Berrytown Wesleyan Church and loved working for many years at Little Learners.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and supporting her children and grandchildren's activities throughout the years. Judith had a caring and compassionate heart for children that she opened her home to support those in foster care programs. She was a mother to many, and her love made such an impact on so many lives.

Judith is survived by her two daughter's Darla Dewey, of Denver, CO, and Kari Stuart, of Shelton, CT., four sons: Keith (Pat) Dewey, of Troy, Richard Harrington, of Murrells Inlet, SC, Charles (Loretta) Harrington, of Towanda, and Ryan (Chrissy) Dewey, of Elmira, NY, grandchildren: Jenna (Matt) Ploss, Curtis Dewey, Blake Dewey, Adam Harrington, Jamie Lynn Stevenson, Derek (Helene) Harrington, Brady Harrington, Alex Dewey, and Logan Dewey, seven great grandchildren, sister Linda Besley and brother David Kendall.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, both parents, daughter-in-law Sharon Harrington, sister-in-law Linda Kendall, and brother-in-law Richard Besley.

Keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will take place at the Windfall Cemetery in Granville Summit, PA.

The Dewey family has entrusted Judith's arrangements with the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr., Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 W. Main St., Troy, PA 16947.
