My deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Judith Docca. I had the joy and privilege of witnessing her amazing leadership with the MC Chapter of the NAACP as well as her dedicated service to the children and families in Mont. Co. Public Schools. She supported public events for children with disabilities and served faithfully as a Board of Education member. She was my beloved Soror. May she rest in peace. Well done Soror. I will miss you!

My deepest condolences to Mrs Docca's family. She was my favorite teacher in high-school at GHS 1973-1975. I was in her Spanish class all three years and enjoyed learning from her so much. Mrs Docca was a superb teacher and connected with all her students in a very unique way. Learning from her was fun, enjoyable and she brought out the best in all of her students. I will miss her dearly but she lives on through her ability to inspire and her incredible contributions to education. RIP Mrs. Docca, I will never forget you

I'll never forget the day when Dr. Docca advocated for teachers. The board was trying to determine if teachers needed more professional (half days). Dr. Docca stated, "these teachers have 125 students." She as a former principal understood the challenges that teachers faced every day and stood her ground as an advocate for more professional days. We need more people like her in the system.
