Jody was born on November 14th, 1945, in Newark, OH. She was an alumnus of the University of Connecticut and received her Master's Degree in Horticulture through the Conway School of Sustainable Planning and Design. Jody provided landscaping and design services for many Connecticut residential estates.
Jody was a member of the Amateur Speed Skating Association of the USA and a member of the Connecticut Speed Skating Association. She competed in short and long track speed skating throughout New York, New England and Canada and received many awards throughout her career. Jody was also a member of the Chelsea Rowing Club in Connecticut and competed in various events in the area and throughout Upstate New York. She was passionately involved in the Special Olympics as a coach, a mentor, and an official for over 20 years.
Jody Was preceded in death by her parents Frank Joseph and Juanita Ruth Doll, her sister Cynthia Ann Doll Moneypenny and her son John (Trey) Foley III.
She is survived by her loving partner of 43 years Alfred "Al" DeMuth, her grandson Johnny Foley IV, and nephews Michael (Billie), Jeffrey (Jeanine), Mark and Eric Moneypenny.
The family expresses its sincere appreciation to the staff of Apple Rehab.
The service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11 AM at Godere-Guillot Funeral Home. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Baltic, CT. Casual attire is preferred.
