Graveside service for Judith Quay Foster, age 80, of Omaha, Texas, will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Gladewater Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Visitation will be held on September 3, 2025, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Mrs. Foster passed away in Royse City, Texas on September 1, 2025.
Judith Foster was born on May 27, 1945, to W.V. McConnell and Mary Fay (Harrison) McConnell in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Mrs. Foster graduated from Rivercrest High School. Judith married the love of her life, James Doyle Foster on February 14, 1963, in Titus County, Texas. She was a homemaker and a small business owner with her husband.
She is survived by her children; James David Foster of Royse City, TX, Debbie Foster Pepper of Crossett, AR, her sister, Sonya Smith of Mt. Vernon, Texas, her grandchildren; James Garrett Thomas, Jessica Hill, Dylan Foster, Jacob Foster, her great-grandchildren; Gauge Thomas, Payton Hill, and Naomi Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.V. and Mary Fay McConnell, her husband, James Foster and her daughter, Virginia Lynn Foster.
