Judith Cramer Freeborn, daughter of the late Stephen E. Cramer and the late Marguerite Cramer Crotsley and Charles A. Crotsley passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025 at Hackettstown Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
She resided in Long Valley, NJ until 1970 when she and her family moved to Allamuchy, NJ.
Judith was a member of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Hackettstown, NJ. She was employed as a staff nurse at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center for 22 years. She also worked part time in the nursing unit at Centenary College and Panther Valley Country Club during that time. She was an avid gardener. She volunteered in many aspects, especially with the American Cancer Society and Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice of Warren County where she received a certificate of appreciation for loyal and valuable service for her volunteerism during the 1980's.
Survived by her children, Michael David Freeborn and wife Rose; Denise Freeborn Polowy and husband Edward; Donna Freeborn Olsyn and husband Michael; Diane Freeborn Kretsch and husband Tom; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; Brother; Larry Crotsley. Judith was looking forward to becoming a great-great grandmother for the first time in November. She is preceded in death by her son Craig Scott Freeborn, her sisters Charlene Taylor and Jean Van Ness and brothers Gary Cramer and C. David Crotsley.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 4-6 PM at the Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 302 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
Honoring Judith's wishes, burial will be private.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Maguire Memorial Home and Cremation Services, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
