Judy Isbell Galamore

Judy Isbell Galamore passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Judy was born in Birmingham, Alabama to parents Buck and Gladys Isbell. Judy spent most of her life living in the Chelsea community that she dearly loved. After high school, Judy went on to receive her nursing degree from UAB. During her long nursing career, Judy spent many years caring for babies in the cardiac care facility at UAB, and many years as a home healthcare nurse. Judy was a Christian woman with a servant's heart and enjoyed helping others.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three of her five siblings, Hoyt Isbell, Sylvia Dorough and Sandra Crawford. She is survived by her three beloved children, Maggie, Shane, and Nick Galamore. Judy loved being Nana to her five granddaughters. She is also survived by two remaining brothers, Harry and Gary Isbell.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at at Chelsea Church of God. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Rev. Mike Kiker and Rev. Marty Kelley are presiding. She will be laid to rest at K-Springs Cemetery
