Judith Greenwald Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home on Feb. 27, 2026.
Judith Ann "Judy" Greenwald, 73, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away on February 13, 2026, at her residence after a courageous struggle with cancer.

Judy was born on October 31, 1952, in Fulton, Missouri, a daughter of the late Glenn R. and Veda E. (née Stafford) Childress. She had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 2016.

Judy was the beloved wife of Ronald G. "Ron" Greenwald, whom she married on December 26, 1971. As a devoted stay-at-home mother, she found great joy in raising her two sons and dedicating her time, love, and energy to her family. She was also an avid golfer and enjoyed the friendship and fellowship that came with the game.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ron of Bonita Springs; her two sons, Jason R. Greenwald (Amanda) of Perth, Australia, and their children, Sarah, Benjamin, and Theodore "Teddy" Greenwald; and Jesse R. Greenwald (Ramya Venugopalan) of Grapevine, Texas, and their children, Saanvi and Isha Greenwald.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her two sisters, Vicky Shimamoto and Linda Deters.

Celebration of Life services are being planned at The Colony in Bonita Springs, Florida, and in St. Louis, Missouri. Service details will be announced at a later date.
