Judith A. Gressak

Judith Anne Gauvin Gressak, died Saturday, February 4, 2023, at home after a brief illness. Judy was born in Westfield, April 1, 1947, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Parker) Gauvin. She grew up in Northbridge and graduated from Saint Patrick's School, Northbridge High School in 1965 and Salter's Secretarial School, in Worcester, in 1967.
Judy leaves her husband of 55 years, Stephen C. Gressak, three children, Elizabeth Mantoni and her husband Mathew, of Blackstone; Stephen Gressak and his wife Svelta, of Ridgefield, CT; Jeannine Nobles and her husband Dennis, of Paris, KY; four grandchildren: Michael Mantoni, Marc Mantoni, Ada Nobles, and Ellen Gressak. She was predeceased by her brother John Gauvin in 1967.
Judy was employed by Northbridge VNA for 22 years as HHA Coordinator, later at Milford Regional Medical Center in the Employee Health Teamwork Occupation Health, Outpatient Rehabilitaion Department before retiring in 2010. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America and the Catholic Women's Council. As a member of Saint Patrick's Parish, Judy was a Eucharistic Minister, taught CCD, was a Confirmation Prep teacher, and was involved with Marriage Encounter and the Prayer Shawl Ministry. She enjoyed family cookouts, Cape Cod vacations, baking for family and friends, crafting, quilting and knitting. She also volunteered at the NAC Food Pantry and the NHS 50th Reunion Committee.
Judy made a difference in the lives of many people. She will be missed.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10AM, Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Saint Patrick's Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville. Inurnment will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery. There are no Calling Hours. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the NAC Food Pantry, 20 Highland St., Whitinsville, MA, 01588.
