WEST HARTLAND -
Judith Marie (Fortune) Hall, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2024. She was the daughter of Clois and Rosa (Vallee) Fortune. Born June 10, 1942 at Hartford Hospital. She attended the Barkhamsted Elementary School and graduated from Regional #7 High School in Barkhamsted. When she retired, she was working at Bristol Hospital. She was a member of the West Hartland Congregational Church.
Her biggest joy in life was the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Judy enjoyed many summers at Lake Champlain surrounded by her family. She enjoyed vacations in Florida with Karen Sousie and her family. She was lucky enough to have a visit with her best friend, Barbara Thibault from Texas prior to passing. She enjoyed cheering for the UCONN girls.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Osden; granddaughter, Rebecca LaCasse; granddaughter, Miranda Pierce and Brett Cooke and granddaughter, Kaylene Pierce; great grandchildren, Jordan Jubrey, Riley Holt and Liliana Cooke; and sister, Gerrie (Cook) Crunden.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Rosemarie "Rose" Douyard; son, William "Billy" Osden; brothers, Gerard Fortune and Ray Cook and brother-in-law, Herb Crunden.
