Judith Ann Hellmuth, 83, passed away at 1:25 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Alton Memorial Hospital.

She was born on March 19, 1942, in Carlinville, Illinois, to Donald and Ruby (Randolph) Foiles. On December 31, 1960, she married Ronald A. Hellmuth.

Judith was a devoted stay-at-home mother who found great joy in raising her children and later spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a passion for gardening and was known for her exceptional cooking. She especially cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Cody.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Rhoades (Darin), and her son, Mark Hellmuth (Sheri); her brothers, Stanley Foiles (Karen) and Steve Foiles (Margaret); four grandchildren, Molly Pace (Mitch), Adam Hellmuth (Amanda), Justin Rhoades (Paige), and Kelsey Rhoades; and five great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Caroline, Harper, and Abe Pace, and Leland Rhoades.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Donald Foiles.

Private visitation will be held at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, Illinois. Rev. Joel Lohr will officiate.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Godfrey.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
