Judith Adell Howell passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026.
Judith grew up in Bath, OH where she graduated from Bath Schools. She stayed in the Bath region and raised her family there. In 2015 she moved to Franklinville, NC where she enjoyed escaping the Northeast Ohio winters. Judith traveled all over the world which included many mission trips to locations in; Africa, Southeast Asia, and Middle America. Judith was always looking to help others. She started her career at Akron General Hospital as a Microbiologist and eventually transitioned into being a drug and alcohol addiction councelor. In what little free time Judith had she enjoyed filling it with friends, family, and her dogs. She also enjoyed expressing herself through art which included glass work and jewelry.
Judith is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her children; James (Lisa) Howell and Lea (John) Stewart, brother; Randy (Karen) Belohlavek, grandchildren; Brandon Howell, Kathryn Howell, Jordan Howell, Alexandra (Boomer) Leonhard, Ryen Patterson, Halle Patterson and Laci Alkyer, and several great grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in the spring in North Carolina.
Judith's fun loving dry sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.
