Judith R. Jensen, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home while surrounded by her daughters on August 24, 2025.
She was born January 20, 1942, to the late Fred and Inez (Gruenau) Peterson, in Council Bluffs, IA. Judy graduated from Minden High School with the class of 1960. She was married to Richard Jensen in 1963. Judy retired from Jennie Edmundson Hospital and helped her husband at Jensen Service, LTD. She was a longtime member of the Minden United Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jensen; sister, Marcia Russmann.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Kristi (Steve) Clawson, Shelli (James) Handy, Jennifer (Jeremy) McDermott; six grandchildren, Kelsey (Josh Kohl) Handy, Konnor (Jadyn Sacco) Handy, Cameron Clawson, Bryce Clawson, Chloe Clawson, Kaden (Lindsay Rickers) McDermott; great-grandchild, Landon Kohl; granddog, Boomer; brother-in-law, Jerry Russmann; special friend, Joan Siebels; a niece, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, August 30, 2025. The family will direct memorials.

Our thoughts and prayers to Judy´s loved ones. I went to Minden school and we were great friends. Doing everything together. We moved to Omaha, got jobs, then slowly lost track of one another. See you in heaven Judy.
