Judith Lynn Knight, 85, of Daleville, passed away on Jan. 5, 2026, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Muncie, IN. She was born on Dec. 7, 1940, in New Castle.
Judy graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School, class of 1959.
She had been a telephone operator for Bell Telephone, but most importantly, she was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and mamaw. She was very dedicated to God and to the Daleville Christian Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, close friends, and her dog, Bella.
Judith is survived by her loving spouse of 61 years, Michael Knight; son, John Michael (Debbie) Knight; grandchildren, Jacob Knight, Aubrey (Matthew McFadden) Knight, Jenna Knight, Faylyn Waggoner, and Seth Waggoner; great-grandchildren, Emmy, Koen, and Sylvia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Medford and Bernetha Hyden, and sons, David Andrew Knight and Daniel Christopher Knight.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Daleville Christian Church. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 10 at 12 p.m., at Daleville Christian Church with Revs. Shawn Buis and Gary McManus officiating. Burial will take place in the South Mound Cemetery, New Castle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Daleville Christian Church Local Outreach Program.
