Judith Kougher

Judith A. Kougher, 79, Reynoldsville, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Christ the King Manor.

Born October 14, 1944, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Leona D. (Snyder) Armagost.

On September 2, 1972, she married Donald Kougher at Trinity Lutheran Church in Reynoldsville. He survives.

In 1963, she graduated from the Reynoldsville High School. Judith later retired from Walmart as a cashier/women's department associate. She enjoyed doing ceramics, quilting with a group at the Foundry in Reynoldsville, watching squirrels raid bird feeders in the backyard, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judith was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church and Eastern Star.

In addition to her husband, Judith is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Lee (Charles) White, DuBois; daughter-in-law Crystal Kougher, Clearfield; five grandchildren, Charles W. (Katrina) White, Kenneth A. (Tosha) White, Daniel E. (Morgan) White, Bella L. Kougher, and Kaine Kougher; six great-grandchildren, Alaya, Henry, Noile, Nevae, Micah, and Oliver, and her sister, Diana Kougher.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, son, Donald Kougher, sister, Beverly J. Mills, and brother, Fred L. Armagost.

Friends and family will be received Saturday, October 5th from 3-4 p.m. from the Christ Lutheran Church. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. from the church with Pastor John Miller officiating. Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
