Judith Ann Kozal (October/11/1957), of Olathe, KS, passed away on December 29, 2024, after a brief illness. She is survived by her devoted husband Robert Borchardt Jr.
Judy was a proud member of the US Navy, where she met her husband Robert while both were stationed in Guam. They were married on December 28, 1994, and settled in Kansas upon their return to the States.
Judy is also survived by her mother Donna (Ken) Plichta, son Adam Harris, brother Rick (Kristi) Kozal, sister Carolyn (Craig Hanson) Rikkers, stepsister Stephanie (Michael) Barry, stepson Jeremy (Mel) Borchardt, stepdaughters Christy (Nick) Hatfield and Megan Borchardt and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by son Cory Harris, father and stepmother Richard and Betty Kozal, stepsister Yvonne Plichta, stepson Robert Borchardt III, and mother- and father-in-law Harriet and Robert Borchardt.
A private service will be held at a later date.
