Thedra Anne Smith

Thedra Anne Smith, age 92, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on March 16, 2026, at Olathe Hospice House. She was born on January 20, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan.

Thedra was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Marie Parker; her two cherished brothers, Eugene Lawrence Parker and Kenneth Anderson Parker; her sister, Jeradee Allen; and her granddaughter, Marlaina Humble.

She is survived by her son, George "Duke" Smith and his wife, Janet; her daughters, Marla Humble, Patricia Archambeau and her husband, Ken, and Monna Smith. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cheramie and Colby Davis, Clay and Leigh Smith, Chris Humble, Tim and Heather Humble, Tara and Chris Mason, Brian and Melissa Archambeau, Tanner and Paige Archambeau, Jeff Newman, and Becca Newman, along with 20 great-grandchildren.

Thedra retired from Witco Corporation in Olathe, Kansas. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. She loved animals and faithfully kept food and water outside for stray cats and dogs. Above all, she dearly loved her family.

She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
