Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home - CheyenneJudi Krieger died peacefully at Davis Hospice in Cheyenne on September 3, 2025 at the age of 81 after a long period of severe health issues.
Judi was born in Torrington, Wyoming on September 6, 1943. She attended beauty school and graduated in 1961 in Wheatland, Wyoming, where she met her husband Karl. They were married for 62 years. Judi worked as a hairstylist, owning her own salon and working from home for 64 years.
An active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cheyenne, Judi supported its charitable work and served as a deacon. She was involved in several other philanthropic organizations, including Mariners and P.E.O. Sisterhood, and volunteered at Davis Hospice for many years.
Judi will always be remembered for her willingness to help others, her kindness in providing homes to many stray dogs and cats, and her love of books and Diet Coke.
Judi is survived by her two children, Kevin Krieger and Jodi Music, sister Karen Stephenson, sister-in-law Donna Stroud, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Karl Krieger, mother and father Mary and Homer Stroud, brother Jerry Stroud, brother-in-law Gerald Stephenson, and niece Shauna Vigil.
A graveside funeral service will be held at the Cheyenne National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 23rd at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at 10:30 at the First Presbyterian Church of Cheyenne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made directly to Davis Hospice or to the First Presbyterian Church of Cheyenne. Please, do not send donations to the family.
