Judith Ann Kuhns was a loving, dedicated wife to her beloved James Jeffrey Kuhns, her husband of 60 years, she went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2025. She passed away at home and was surrounded by her family when she went to meet her Savior.
She was a bright and shining light to so many, a helping hand to all, and a prayer warrior at heart. She took care of her family as it was always her number one priority. Strength and grace followed her wherever she was.
Apostolic by Faith, a God fearing, faith believing, praying woman who loved her family with her whole heart. She was the glue that held the family together, truly the center of it all. She will be deeply missed by all.
To know her, you had no choice but to love her. Her traditions and love that she had for family will carry on through her husband, children, and grandchildren.
We thank Valley Hospice for their loving care and Tricia Smith, for taking such good care of her in her time of need.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Eugene & Velma Jane Dobrzynski; 2 infant siblings, Bobby & Deloris Dobrzynski; and siblings, Edward Eugene (Shirley) Dobrzynski, Joseph (Diane) Dobrzynski, Emma Lou (Roy) Ferrell, Margaret L. (Walt) Scott, and Donald Wayne (Mona) Dobrzynski.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Terri (Kenneth) Smith, Connie (Harold "Rick" III) Garrett, James (Elizabeth) Kuhns, Jr., and Tami (Robert) Seevers.; grandchildren, Kenneth Smith II, Kerri Ann Smith, Shiloh Garrett, James (Baily Rehm) Kuhns III Logan (Timmy) Cumpston, Britany Seevers Leasure, Collin (Amanda) Seevers, Kodi (Victoria) Seevers, and Elijah Seevers; great-grandchildren, Kam Smith-Brooks, Jordyn Kuhns, Karson Kuhns, Kenlee Kuhns, Jaxxon Och, Jersey Cumpston, Jordan & Jase Leasure, Annzley Leasure, Asher Leasure, Axton Leasure, CC Seevers, Rhett Seevers, Josie Seevers, and Oliver Seevers; and siblings, Virginia (Frank) Norton, and Bill (Terri) Dobrzynski.
Loved by so many, it is not goodbye, it is we will see you later at those pearly gates.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311) where services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Daniel Nelson officiating.
