Judith Lara Obituary
Judith passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Bay Shores Nursing Home at the age of 80. The daughter of the late M. Edsel and Grayce (Warren) Mason was born April 28, 1945 in Bay City, Michigan. Judith retired as a grief counselor at Floral Gardens Cemetery and enjoyed singing and doing crafts, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Judith is survived by her husband, Felix A. Lara; three children, Julee Turner, Gloria (Todd) Stewart and Dianna (Thomas) Miller; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Gary Mason; one sister, Cheryl Langerock and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Turner Jr.; sister, Linda Kleinschmidt and her sister-in-law, Nancy Mason.
A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be E.J. Brown. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Gephart Funeral Home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Bay Shores Nursing Home.
