Judith Ann Lee, 83, passed away on February 15, 2025. Judy, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her.

An Indianapolis native, Judy attended Ben Davis High School and IUPUI. She retired from IU Hospital after 53 years of service as Phlebotomy Supervisor in the Department of Pathology. She had strong values and was well regarded by her coworkers.

Judy had a variety of interests, and as a teen enjoyed the companionship of Danny, her horse. In later years, she enjoyed several beloved dogs. She was an avid reader and enjoyed performing arts, some sports, travel including road trips and spending time with cherished family and friends. After retiring, Judy volunteered at the Morning Dove Horse Riding Academy.

Judy's journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion and generosity. She will be remembered for her commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents Clayton Lee and Mildred York Lee and a brother, Wayne Jackson Lee.

She is survived by her wife of 32 years, Sharon Marie Sadler, and a cousin Loretta Gautier. Her extended family include goddaughter, Kim Lyons Crimmins; Dale and Pamela Prosser Sadler; granddaughters: Jessica Sadler Rashkovsky of Louisville, KY and Valarie Sadler Wells (Douglas) of Traverse City, MI; great grandchildren: Julien Ramos, Erin, Smith, Kavanaugh, Dahlia, Finnegan and Fletcher Wells.
