Judith A. Leone

Judith A. "Judi" (Thomson) Leone, 70, of Auburn, formerly of Shrewsbury, died peacefully Tuesday, July 18, 2023 with her family by her side.
Judi was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Kenneth and Doris (Benoit) Thomson. She graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer. Having a passion to learn, Judi continued her education receiving her Bachelor's degree from Fitchburg State and then attending Lesley College where she was very proud to have attained her Master's degree in Education.
For over 30 years, Judi was a school teacher in the Spencer School System working mostly in the Pleasant Street School and then later in her career at Lake Street School before retiring in 2006.
She leaves her husband Anthony L. Leone; a son, Kenneth D. Cetrone, and his wife Jolene of Oxford; two grandchildren, Alice, and Caleb Cesaitis both of Oxford; a sister Jean Klimek and her husband Tom of Virginia; two nephews, Chris, and Steve Klimek; as well as many wonderful friends.
Judi enjoyed traveling, being around the ocean, whether it was on a boat or sitting on a beautiful beach reading a romance novel, she loved life Her husband and family were always her top priority always!!
Calling hours will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street., Auburn. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 24, 2023 at North American Martyr's Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will be held privately.
