Judith Ann “Judy” Martin, 84, formerly of Camden, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, in Westfield, Indiana. She was born on June 5, 1940, to Don and Midge Kelly. On July 19, 1957, she married Charles Arthur “Art” Martin; he preceded her in death, after nearly fifty-nine years of marriage, on July 1, 2016.
Judy retired from the former Bright National Bank, having supervised the bookkeeping department and serving as an assistant trust officer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Camden.
Judy lived most of her life in rural Camden. After experiencing a nearly fatal brain stem stroke in 2014, she and Art moved to Westfield to be near their oldest daughter.
Surviving are daughters Michelle (Terry) Collins, Westfield, and Kelly Martin, Peru; brother Don (Mary, deceased) Kelly, West Lafayette; sister Patsy (Bill) Hasser, Delphi; sister-in-law MaryAnne (Kenny) Berkshire, Delphi; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3, at the Day & Genda Funeral Home- Reinke Chapel in Flora. Visitation will begin at 11:00am, with the service at 1:00pm. Chaplain Charlie Sawyer will officiate. Burial will follow at Camden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in memory of Judy to the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI), serving patients with life-changing illness or injury; the medical and therapy teams at RHI greatly aided Judy’s stroke recovery.
