Dwanda A. Libka, 92, of Flora, passed away, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette. She was born September 23, 1933, in Columbia, Kentucky to William and Iva (Curry) Allison. She married Arthur Libka on January 24, 1954. He preceded her in passing August 9, 1994.
Dwanda was a 1952 graduate of Hardensburg High School. She spent most of her life caring for her husband and family and tending the home. She later worked for 18 years Essex Wire in Flora and Stephan’s IGA after retiring. She was member of Valley View Baptist Church. Dwanda enjoyed shopping, traveling, working in her flower garden, and doing volunteer work. She was known as a sweet and loving lady, but those that knew her best will remember her for her quick wit and humor.
Dwanda is survived by her children, Rick Libka; Larry (Patricia) Libka, and Darrell Libka; grandchildren, Marisa (Nelson) Stern and Cory (Brittany) Libka; and three great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Dwanda is preceded in passing by her parents and siblings, Bill Allison, Majorie Grant, and Juanita Mercer.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Valley View Baptist Church in Flora. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Reinke Chapel is assisting with the services and arrangements. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
