Judy L. McCormick, age 83, passed away peacefully in Bellingham on Friday, April 11, 2025.
She was born on February 26, 1942 in Bellingham to Ernie and Evelyn Nolte. Raised in Everson, she graduated from Nooksack Valley High School in 1960. Judy married Bill McCormick on June 15, 1974. Her occupations over the years included cannery work, waitressing, and a job at an egg processing plant. Judy was passionate about gardening, camping, traveling, coffee and conversation, looking for agates on the beach, and playing card games with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill McCormick, brother, Bruce Nolte, and her parents, Ernie and Evelyn Nolte.
She is survived by her five children, John Lankhaar, Lisa DiLorenzo, Joel McCormick, Lorene (James) Mattingley, and Vali (Fred) Jaeger; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, siblings Mary, John, and Steve Nolte, and many loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, April 22 at North County Christ the King Church (1816 18th St. Lynden, WA) with a reception following. You may watch a livestream of the service here: https://youtube.com/live/laHLxjNvHsY?feature=share
