Judith Murtiff Obituary
Judy married the love of her life, Harry Murtiff, on November 27, 1958. Together they shared 60 devoted years of marriage until Harry's passing on November 5, 2019. Their life together was one marked by love, faith, and deep commitment to family.
A woman of strong faith, Judy was a devoted member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Tontogany, where her faith played a central role throughout her life. She found joy and peace in creative pursuits, especially quilting and drawing. Judy was a wonderfully skilled artist, known for her beautiful drawings and her creative spirit.
She enjoyed staying active through yoga at the Waterville YMCA and took great pride in her backyard where her beloved daisies and hostas flourished under her care. Judy was also an avid sports fan, faithfully cheering on the University of Toledo Rockets football team and the Detroit Tigers.
Above all else, Judy was a devoted and loving mother who cherished her family. Her kindness, creativity, faith, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Judy's legacy of love and devotion lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever treasure the time they shared with her.
Judy is survived by her children Tracee (Gary) Mohler of Powell, Ohio, Jennifer (Matthew) Thourot of Whitehouse, Ohio, Brad (Brandy) Murtiff of Bucyrus, Ohio, cherished grandchildren Jordan (Gaby) Mohler, Alex (Rachael) Mohler, Cole (Becca) Murtiff, Samantha Murtiff, Dekker Thourot, and numerous dear friends.
Along with her parents and beloved husband, Judy was preceded in death by her 3 brothers and 1 sister.
A celebration of life for Judy will be announced at a later date. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home Whitehouse, Ohio 6603 Providence St. 43571.
Memorial contributions may be given to Calvary United Methodist Church in Tontogany, Ohio.

I met Judy less than 2 weeks before her passing. We spent 2 hours together. I was there as a companion/caregiver from Christian Home Care. Amazing how quickly one can impact your life in such a positive way. Judy did as much for me as I for her. Truly one deserving of our respect and love. I know Jesus doesn't have favorites, but if he did, Judy would be one.

So many
memories of her and her family -a wonderful friend and neighbor. We enjoyed so many happy years together as neighbors on CO RD C in Delta. My heartfelt sympathy and earnest prayers to all the family - she will live forever in our hearts full of fond memories.
