Judith Ann Osburg (nee: Baker), 83, of Newport, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.
Judy loved her family and her Catholic faith. Her life revolved around these two things. She loved to spend time with her family and could often be found rooting on her grandchildren at their many sporting events. She also loved doing jigsaw puzzles and playing board games with her family. Judy dearly loved her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
She was a devout Catholic and attended Mass as often as she could. This faithful devotion inspired her in her 40 year career with the Diocese of Covington. She worked 33 of those years as an administrator at St. Thomas Parish in Ft. Thomas, KY. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting Rome and Paris on many trips and vacationing in St. Pete Beach with her family. Judy was an avid card player and belonged to several card clubs.
Judy was born December 29, 1941 in Newport, KY to the late Charles Baker and Sophia (nee: Rolfes) Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James E. Osburg & sister Virginia Hogan.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Lori Owen, Debbie (Bill) Holmes, Tammy (Rick) Atkins, sons, Jim (Tracy) Osburg, David (Holly) Osburg, 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, & brother, Charles Baker.
Visitation 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, January 5, 2026 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 South Ft. Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at St. Thomas Parish, Fort Thomas, KY. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas Parish, 26 E. Villa Place, Fort Thomas, KY 41075.
