Judith Ann Porter

Judith (Judy) Ann Porter passed away peacefully in her home on February 18, 2026 with her son, Allen, and caregiver, Lilliam, by her side.

Judy was born on June 10, 1943 to James and Lillian Porter (Dean). She spent the first half of her life in Necedah, WI where she went on to have three children--Pam, Allen, and Carmen--and to marry George Richard Porter. She became widowed in 1981 and moved to Beloit, WI shortly after.

Later in life, she met her love, William "Bill" Elliot. They split their time between Beloit, WI and Marco Island, FL where Judy could best perform her love for sunbathing and working in her yard.

She had various jobs throughout her life, but she found her niche in waitressing where she was able to practice one of her favorite past times--talking with others.

She was an avid rummy player who loved reading celebrity gossip and watching sports, especially the Packers and Brewers.

She had a passion for keeping her home meticulously clean inside and out, where not a speck of dust nor a single leaf could ever be spotted.

Perhaps her favorite passion of them all, though, was coffee. She was rarely seen without it and loved to share conversations with others over a cup or four.

Judy was a kind, funny, and hard-working soul. She was very close with her family, leaving an unfillable void in their lives. Thankfully, they find comfort in the great memories and many laughs they shared. She will be dearly missed.

Judy is survived by her son, Allen Porter, her grandchildren, Kimberly Miller, Alexandria Meyer, and Samantha Howe, four great grandchildren, step daughter, Lesley (Michael) Justus, and two step great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; daughters, Pam Raymer and Carmen Porter; granddaughter, Danielle Ossmann; great-grandson, Christopher Raymer; her love, Bill Elliot; step grandchild, Chad Burner; and her beloved cat, Jackie.

A heartfelt thank you to Lilliam Gonzalez for your unwavering patience, kindness, loving care, and friendly banter; you are family, too.

A Memorial Service for Judy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Pastor Dave Meding officiating. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
