Judith Puchta Obituary
New London, Connecticut. The daughter of James C. Hanson and Lillian E. (Clark) Hanson. Judith loved the game of golf. She was a member of Nippo Lake Golf Club.
Judith is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Puchta: daughters Kristin and her husband Jack Carney of Massachusetts, and Sharon and her husband Jeff Walsh of Connecticut. She had 6 grandchildren, Raistlin, Paige, Adrienne, Sydney, Avalon, and Jack.
She started in Personnel at Cottrell Co in Pawcatuck, CT in 1962. During its many changes in ownership, she worked in Sales Administration, and relocated to the Dover, NH facility in 1986. She had taken a position in Customer Service prior to retiring in 2010.
Judith loved bowling, but her true passion was golf. She was a member of Rochester Country Club until she joined Nippo Lake Golf Course where she was active in planning many events. She was looking forward to golfing the heaventh hole with her golf friends who have passed. She also enjoyed making cookies for her family and friends. And LOVED Christmas giving with every gift having a unique story. Plus, she loved family Thanksgiving.

Shortly after I joined the Cottrell Engineering in 1963 Bernie Belisle named her and I to run the company picnic at Ocean Beach, and I learned about her organizational skills. She basically ran the show and took the heat off me. When she got into Sales administration she quickly became the go to person when you needed something done. Rest in Peace Judy! Joe Abbott

My condolences to the whole family. I looked forward to sitting next to Judy every Christmas, even when a glass would mysteriously break. Her cookies were my favorite. She was a kind lady who will always be remembered.
