Judith Ann Roach

Judith Ann Roach, nee Eggers was born on Saturday, February 28, 1948, in St. Louis, MO to Robert O. Eggers and Betty Jane Eggers, nee Bailey. She passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at The Arbors of Washington in Washington, MO at the age of 75 years, 4 months, and 4 days.
Judy lived in Bismark, MO from the age of 4. She attended and graduated from Bismark High School in 1966. She was a bookkeeper by trade and worked many years in the family oil jobber business and various other places. She married the love of her life, George William Roach, on March 25, 1967 at Bismark Baptist Church and theirs was the last wedding held in the old church sanctuary. Two children, DeWayne and Jennifer, were born to this union. Judy was a great pastor's wife, supporting her husband in ministry, an encourager, a greeter, a children's Sunday School teacher, and a nursery worker. She was faithful in sending cards to many throughout their ministry. Judy enjoyed bowling, reading, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Betty Eggers; parents-in-law Raymond (Della) Roach; brother-in-law James Stringer; nephew James Raymond Stringer; son-in-law Chris Sansone; and special uncle John Eggers.
Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years George Roach; children DeWayne (Kim) Roach of Pacific, MO and Jennifer Roach of Union, MO; brother Steve (Kelly) Eggers of Ironton, MO; sister-in-law Billie Stringer of Arcadia, MO; grandchildren Ethan Roach, Avery Roach, and Brynna Roach all of Pacific, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at The Ridge, Villa Ridge, MO. Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Plymale and Rev. Roger Johnson officiating. The family chose cremation as her final disposition and a private Inurnment will be held at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 9374 Olive Blvd. STE 101, St. Louis, MO 63132.
