Judith A. Rogowski

Judith G. Rogowski, 83, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 in her home. She was born October 24, 1941 in Hammond, Indiana to Howard W. and Eileen (Sturgeon) Hacker. On August 16, 1963 in Chesterton, she married Robert G. Rogowski, Sr. who passed away May 18, 2007. Judith is survived by her children Robert G. Rogowski Jr. and her daughters, Trish Pawlik, Gayle E. (Blair) Carpenter; three grandchildren Heather Rogowski, Noel Rogowski, and Alan Ackerman; five great grandchildren Aiden Cain, Mason Ackerman, Danielle Remson, Amara Cain and Coraline Remson; and her brother Howard R. (Shirley Edwards) Hacker. In addition to her husband, Judith was preceded in death by her parents, her grandchild Brandon Peterson, and her sister Nancy Schmidt. Judith was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Otis. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 24th at Newhard Funeral Home in Westville. Pastor Jack Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Cemetery in Michigan City. Visitation will be on Friday from 3-7 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
