Judith Sanderson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremations of the Ozarks - Hollister on Mar. 5, 2026.
Judith "Judy" Ann Sanderson, age 81, of Kissee Mills, Missouri, passed away March 2, 2026. She entered this life July 15, 1944, the daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Spurling) Annett in Martensdale, Iowa. Judy was joined in marriage to Eldon "Speed" Virgil Sanderson on March 26, 1963.

With a calling by her faith, Judy served in Sunday school, youth programs, and the bus ministry at her church while living in Iowa. While living in Iowa, she was employed on the pastor's farm and shortly after in 1987 she went to work for another farm to raise and sell rabbits. Judy loved farming that she took on the responsibility for caring for 3,200 piglets in the nursery and bought out the farm where her and her husband spent more than ten years. When the farm was sold, she spent three years living in Arkansas until 2010. After that, they relocated to Taney County, where they have remained for sixteen years. While in the Ozarks, they have been members of Cowboy Church in Branson, Missouri. Judy was known for her compassion toward both animals and people, and her kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Judy is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Eldon "Speed" Sanderson of Kissee Mills, Missouri as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Walter Jr Annett and Harold Wayne Annett; and sister, Edie Crawford.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Cowboy Church at the Americana Theater, 2905 W. 76 Country Blvd, Branson, Missouri. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
