Judith A. Sandie, age 85, of Greenville passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Golden Life AFC in Greenville, surrounded by her family, and under the gentle care of Gentiva Hospice and the amazing staff at Golden Life. She was born November 27, 1937 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the daughter of John & Elmi (Hill) Sabatine. She loved her family, her church and her community, serving all faithfully. Judy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dan; two daughters and sons in-law Barb (Gary) Fox of Greenville and Trish (Steve) Lindeman of Howell; daughter in-law Sandra Kilgore-Sandie of Greenville; five grandsons Matt (Nicole) Fox, Joe (Meghan) Fox, Stephen (Molly) Lindeman, Peter (Beth Ann) Lindeman and Sam Lindeman (Bridget McCaffrey); four great grandsons James and Wesley Lindeman, Luke Fox, Kal Fox, and a fifth due this summer. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Daniel J. Sandie, III in 2005. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Greenville, with Pastor Jeff Williams officiating. Members of the family will receive friends and relatives at the church beginning at 10:00 AM until the service. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in Judy’s name to Clay Street Center in Greenville.
