Judith Sidonio (nee Smarek), 88, died on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Judith was born and raised in New York City and moved to Lyndhurst in 1967. She then moved to East Rutherford in 1988 before moving to Florida where she had lived for over 20 years. She worked in the Empire State Building for a law firm earlier in her life before becoming the office manager of Weiner, Zuckerberg, and Weiss in Montvale, altogether working for 40 years. Judith will be remembered for her quick wit and great sense of humor. She loved her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by her family.

Judith is survived by her loving children, Steven Ellis and his wife, Deborah, Dominic Sidonio and his wife, Leigh, and John Sidonio, by her cherished grandchildren, Heather and her husband, Anthony, Christy and her husband, Les, Nicholas and his wife, Madison, Jenna, and Jessica, by her adored great grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph, Dylan, Jane, and Elena Grace, and by her dear sisters, Annette Barletta and her husband, Robert, Bernice Malinowski and her husband, Jan, and Denise Smarek. She was predeceased by her brothers, George, Johnny, and Robert Smarek.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 4 - 8 PM. A funeral service will begin at 7:30 PM. Cremation will be held privately. You may express your condolences to Judith's family by using our tribute wall.
