Judy A. Smith, age 69, of Manchester, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Mercy Fairfield Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio. She was born in September 20, 1955, in Lancaster, to Clarence and Marilyn (Mathias) Moore. She retired from Columbus Industries with over 30 years of service. Judy enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets, time spent with her grandchildren, and playing games on her phone. She especially loved cooking for her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Steve Smith; children, Steve (Racheal Sowers) Smith Jr., of Greenfield and Kelly Jo (Pat Green), of Manchester; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Diana (Paul) Eads, of Albany; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Stephanie and Mindy Smith; siblings, Randy, Marty, and Eddie Moore, and Mary.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. Interment will follow at Tarlton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Friends may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
