Larry Hoffman

Amanda Larry W. Hoffman, age 79, of Amanda, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Pickering House. He was born April 10, 1946, in Lancaster, the son of Forrest and Dorothy (VanGundy) Hoffman. Larry was a truck driver for 48 years. He also helped his parents and Karen's parents with their farms. He was a dedicated worker, who spent much time on the road providing for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 60 and a half years, Karen (Sharp) Hoffman; children, Jerry (Rita) Hoffman, of Amanda, Annette (Pat) O'Bryant, of Chillicothe, Darrell (Lindsay) Hoffman, of Amanda, Debbie (Troy) Bowles, of Amanda, Kenny (Michelle) Hoffman, of Laurelville, and Jeff (Lindsey) Hoffman, of Laurelville; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Carol Norris, of Amanda; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Donna Romine.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda, with Pastor Bob Zaayer officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
