Judith Ann Staley

Judith Ann Staley, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, in her cherished hometown of Evanston, Wyoming. Born on February 17, 1939, in Evanston, Judith lived a life defined by her unwavering devotion to her family, her community, and her faith as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Judith proudly dedicated many years of her life to her profession as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Wyoming State Hospital, where she touched the lives of countless individuals with her compassionate care and kindness. After her retirement, she continued to find joy in her family and hobbies, notably her enthusiasm for yard sales and yard work, as well as her passion for genealogy.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Ted J. Staley (Ouida), Wynona Jean Licht (Jeff), and Jared T. Staley (Rachel); her brother, Les Fotheringham (Pam); her sisters, Sandy Ottley and Ruthie Norris (Jim); 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. While she will be profoundly missed, Judith will forever be cherished for her warmth, generosity, and the deep love she had for her family.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, her son Billy Staley, and her brother Bill Fotheringham.

Funeral services will be held in honor of Judith's life, providing an opportunity for her family and friends to gather together to celebrate her remarkable journey. The ceremony will take place at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, bringing together those whose lives she touched throughout the years. Following the service, Judith will be laid to rest in Coalville City Cemetery.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Judith Ann Staley not only for her departure but for the love and light she brought into the world. Her legacy will live on through her family and the many lives she impacted.
